Here are some results of the second roll of 120 film I used on my new Hasselblad 501CM.

I am so amazed at the the range and distribution of tones and the smoothness of gradation among them. The sharpness is relatively pleasant, unlike  digitally edited images. Most of all, the reproduction of the naturalness of colors is beyond my expectation. It is always a pleasure to see and admire a lot of other photographers' works made with Hasselblad on the Internet, but nothing thrills me more than now seeing my own Hasselblad works.

These images were taken with Kodak Portra 160 color film on the same day as those in my previous entry. I am still managing to get the metering and focusing right. Waist-lever viewfinder is quite a challenge for a veteran DSLR user like me. Yet, it is OK; in fact, I quite enjoy the process because I know this is all normal for a novice like me and exactly the right pleasure of using a Hasselblad camera.
