Here Are the results of the roll of film I shot with my Minolta X-700 with Minolta MD 1.7/50 after I got it back from the repair technician. I shot these in order to see if the camera shutter was properly repaired and the as the results show, it works OK. I killed the whole roll of film in about 1 hour in the afternoon at a abandoned faculty dormitory area at a national university in town.
Most of the buildings in the area have been torn down and the few remaining ones are basically evacuated, which I guess will be all gone next year. It is sad to see old-fashioned buildings like these are vanishing in the process of urban modernization. In Taiwan, building that bear character tend to be old, because they were mostly building by Japanese during the 50 years they occupied this island. Taiwanese architecture seem to lack similar aesthetic quality.
